Trendling ("the app") is an educational app that teaches technical analysis. It is published by Borsanın İzinden Danışmanlık Finans ve Eğitim Hizmetleri Ticaret Limited Şirketi ("we", "us"), [COMPANY ADDRESS], Türkiye.
This policy explains what information the app handles, where it goes, and the choices you have. We wrote it to be short and specific. If anything is unclear, contact us at support@gettrendling.com.
The short version
- You do not need an account to use Trendling.
- Your learning progress, settings and the name you put on certificates are stored only on your device.
- We do not show ads, we do not track you across other apps or websites, and we do not sell or share your personal data.
- When you subscribe to Premium, the payment is handled by Apple or Google, and your subscription status is checked through our subscription provider, RevenueCat.
1. Information stored only on your device
The app stores the following on your phone so it can work, including offline:
- Learning progress: lessons completed, scores, XP, streaks, review questions, test and exam results, badges, and Daily Chart results.
- Settings: sound, music, haptics, chart colors, the markets you follow, your daily goal, and reminder preferences.
- Certificate name: the name you type to appear on your certificates.
This information is not sent to us. We cannot see it. If you delete the app, it is deleted with it.
2. Reminders
If you turn on daily reminders, the app schedules local notifications on your device. No notification token is created or sent to any server, and we do not send push notifications. You can turn reminders off in the app's Settings or in your phone's settings at any time.
3. Premium subscriptions
Premium is an optional auto-renewing subscription.
- Payment is processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never receive your card details, billing address or Apple ID / Google account password. Apple's and Google's own privacy policies apply to the payment.
- Subscription status is managed through RevenueCat, Inc., a subscription management service. To check whether Premium is active and to restore purchases, the app shares with RevenueCat: an anonymous app user identifier generated for your installation, your purchase receipts and transaction history for Trendling, and basic technical information (such as device type, operating system version, app version, country/storefront and IP address). RevenueCat processes this on our behalf. See RevenueCat's privacy policy at https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy.
- We do not link this information to your name or email address, because the app does not ask for them.
You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings.
4. App updates
To deliver content updates and fixes, the app checks for updates through Expo (650 Industries, Inc.), the platform the app is built on. When it checks, Expo's servers receive standard technical information needed to deliver the right update, such as your IP address, platform, app version and update channel. This is not used to identify you. See Expo's privacy policy at https://expo.dev/privacy.
5. Sharing you choose to do
When you tap Share (for example, on a Daily Chart result or a certificate), your phone's share sheet opens and you decide where the text goes. We do not receive a copy.
6. What we do not do
- No advertising and no advertising identifiers.
- No tracking across other companies' apps or websites.
- No analytics or crash-reporting services that collect personal data.
- No sale or rental of personal data.
- No trading signals, brokerage, or handling of your investments or trading accounts.
7. Children
Trendling is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
8. Your rights
Because your learning data stays on your device, you control it directly: you can reset it by deleting the app. For information processed by RevenueCat in connection with a subscription, and for any other privacy request, contact us at support@gettrendling.com. Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the EU/UK GDPR or Türkiye's Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK), including the right to access, correct or delete personal data and to complain to your data protection authority. We will answer requests within the time the law requires.
9. International transfers
Our service providers (Apple, Google, RevenueCat and Expo) may process technical and purchase information in the United States and other countries. They do so under their own legal safeguards for international transfers.
10. Data retention
On-device data stays until you delete the app. Subscription records held by RevenueCat and the app stores are kept for as long as needed to provide the subscription and to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
11. Changes to this policy
If the app starts handling information in a new way (for example, optional accounts or cloud sync), we will update this policy and the effective date above before the change takes effect, and describe significant changes in the app.
